The new frigidaire gas range we purchased was a replacement for an older one that was an almond color. The old one was a tappan gas made by frigidaire! A 1995 model. The new one is white, a five burner unit that works wonderful and just right for my wife and I! We purchased this stove directly from the frigidaire website and all went well. Thanks!!

I™™m very pleased with the new stove. I didn™™t realize how inefficient my previous stove was cooking. I bought the new one because my old oven wasn™™t functioning properly and it was becoming too costly and tedious to repair it. However, I discovered while using the cooktop that I had been missing out on the great cooking performance that I now have with my Frigidaire stove. I just wish the oven had one more rack and a broiler pan.

See the product in person before purchasing. I purchased by viewing product online (with regret). Nothing in the manufacturer description is false but the web site leaves a lot to be desired. Some details are left out or unclear. Multiple problems with burners required 2 visits from service team (under warranty). Look closely at product at retailer location before you buy. Visual display panel only shows time or what the oven temperature "wants" to be. No way of telling what the actual temperature in the oven. Oven racks are flimsy, barely strong enough to hold a 15 pound turkey roast. Oven isn't as deep as my old oven. Beware: broiler is electric, not gas as you would expect. Manufacturer web site does not say that. Hard to believe it can get hot enough on only 110 v AC. I'm not sure how much of my complaint is due to new Federal regulations or manufacturer design.Think carefully if you really need the center burner. I got it then can't figure out a good use for it.I regret getting rid of my 30 year old Kenmore range that worked perfectly and had much higher quality. Sadly it has gone to the crusher.

So far, so good. I like the different size burners and just bought a StoveGuard protector to help with cleanup. Though i am still getting used to my new gas range. I haven™™t done any real baking yet so I can™™t say how that will go. The heat in the oven comes from below and runs a bit cool, so I™™ve had to adjust to that. Usually I need to set the oven to 25 degrees higher than recipes call for.

Recently the gas utility installed gas line to our semi rural location, and the first appliance we choose to replace is our range. We prefer cooking with gas vs electric.Our existing electric range was a 14 year old Frigidaire 30" white unit which we purchased new when we renovate dour kitchen. Had absolutely no problems with the old range, and we moved it downstair to our summer kitchen. Besides operation on gas, our replacement Frigidaire unit has the center griddle and some minor upgrades. Very pleased!

I love the stovetop and even purchased the griddle to cover the center burner. Oven is great as my old one had trouble keeping the right baking temperature. This electric coil in place of a gas broiler however is very disappointing. On the highest rack and with a broiler pan, things burn near the coil and don™™t cook a few inches either side. On the second highest rack it takes 2x longer or more to cook and barely browns the meat. It™™s a lot more like using a toaster oven than a grill. Planning to cook steaks and chops outside on the grill since this is broiler is more like baking..

This is a very nice range. I enjoy the 5 burner system. It has great heat control and many options for pan size. The oven heats up quickly and seems to hold heat very well. I appreciate the window in the door and the storage drawer. (This unit does not have a warmer drawer). The door is a bit "loose" and closes much easier than my previous unit. I am accustomed to leaving the door propped to release heat into the kitchen in cooler months and it takes a bit of skill to get it to stay ajar. The closed burner system makes it very easy to clean. Overall, it is a great buy.

We purchased a remodeled farmhouse and it had an electric stove that was 20 years old. We had a new gas line ran and replaced it with this beautiful GAS range. I love it! Lowes did a great job getting it to us quickly and taking the old stove and cooking on it is fun and exciting. Gas is just the way to go. We also bought a new Dishwasher at the same time, love that thing! The old one just stopped washing dishes. Excited for these new additions to our farmhouse!

My husband & I love this gas range. The grates on top are cast iron and one level across. You don't need to worry about pans slipping off the grates. You can use big pots and have room for other pots on stove. The five burner is a wonderful feature. I can put my cast iron griddle on the middle big burner and cook several items at once. WeLove it!!

Pretty basic stove everything works generally how it should. Didn't notice at the store but the broil function uses an electronic heat coil which is unusual. The thing I don't like is the oven controls. When you turn the oven on there's no indicator that the oven is preheating or is up to temp. It beeps when it reaches the temperature but there's no visual indicator to tell you. The other thing is when you set the oven timer it just beeps it doesn't actually turn the oven off. I've never had a stove that does this. Most of them when you set a timer the timer beeps and turns the oven off. Finally and the thing I like the least is the oven indicator light. If you're not standing directly in front of it it's hard to see the green light to tell you that the oven is on. Bad design simple fix. In general seems to be built well in functions as it should.

I'm most pleased with my new oven...Only thing wrong is NOT Fridgedare's fault, but mine given when I placed my order I thought it had self clean feature & convection (self clean more important)...It took me a week or so to realize I don't have self clean feature...sniff sniff.
